I have been wanting to write this blog post for awhile now. But somehow I just can’t seem to come up with the right words to describe how special this couple and this wedding was. Quite honestly, none of this would be possible without the introduction from Cicely + Rebecca at Life Design Events. They assumed we might be a good fit for one another and they could not have been more right!
This couple is surrounded by a group of friends and family that absolutely adore them. And knowing them for the short time we have, it is easy to see why. The interactions, the overheard comments, the wedding ceremony, the toasts – were all filled with heartfelt sentiment. A testament to these men as both individuals and as a couple of 19 years.
The Arizona Biltmore was chosen for this wedding because of its history, the architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright, if you have ever been here you know exactly what I mean. This couple lives in NYC but wanted to travel to the “stylish southwest” and share their wedding weekend with their friends and family. Having a destination wedding at this resort was the perfect fit – a little bit of Phoenix history, some chill time by the pool, a rehearsal dinner at the Hermosa Inn, great food, lots of laughs – and of course on the wedding day – lots of emotion.
We are so grateful to have had this honor. Looking forward to seeing theses two grow old side by side!
