Snow covered cars in the parking lot at the Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, Arizona during a snowstorm. I saw this as we pulled off our path to grab a cup of coffee for the road. As usual (but not always) I had a camera at my side and hopped out in the snow to take a look around and grab a shot or two. I was immediately struck by what appeared to be a portal to a time long past. I am happy I didn’t get stuck. Moving forward is the only thing we can do to change anything. It is vitally important though to look to the past to see what has or hasn’t worked and plot a course forward making sure not to repeat mistakes. Funny what you see when you just look around.
