Wedding | from Saguaro National Park to MOCA | Tucson

the blog:

What can I say about these two and their families? There is not enough room on this page.

From our first skype call to our last photo taken at their wedding, it was evident that two things mattered to this couple – photographing real moments and taking lots of meaningful family photos. That combination speaks to us loud and clear.

When we met for their engagement session in Tucson, we were charmed. They were in the process of renovating an historic adobe home – so many of the engagement photos centered on what was most important to them: the U of A, their dog (love this!), their home that was in the very beginning stages of renovation (think no roof!), the surrounding neighborhood, the gorgeous Tucson scenery, guitar playing and their love for riding bikes.

What is most striking about their wedding is how these same themes were evident throughout.

The new house was ready. (Jealous is an understatement – they did such an incredible job of renovating this historic home – managing to modernize while keeping the foundation of what makes this home so incredible to begin with), ceremony at Saguaro National Park, riding their bikes from their home to their wedding reception at MOCA, just down the street, incorporating a way for guests to give to their favorite charities within the reception, heartfelt toasts, fun dancing – lots of group photos, plenty of friends and family.
